Complete and sign the agreement and application and return it with your application fee (keep a copy for your records). Space is limited to approximately 60 vendors and priority will be given to artists and artisans presenting original works. Booth space acceptance will be confirmed starting March 1st and no later than April 15th. Once accepted, all application fees are non-refundable.
Terms of Exhibition
The A&C Vendor, in consideration of the payment of $250.00 fee, shall rent a 10′ X 10′ uncovered exhibition space in the Arts & Crafts area of the Memphis Italian Festival. One 20 amp circuit will be provided by the Festival. THERE ARE NO GENERATORS ALLOWED IN THE ARTS & CRAFTS AREA. Exhibitor will need to provide an outdoor extension cord, which should be at least 50 to 100 feet long.
All A&C Vendors will need to add $10.00 per tent used (We do not furnish tents). MIF will obtain a tent permit on your behalf from Code Enforcement. You will not need to obtain the code enforcement permit as MIF has taken care of this.
All A&C Vendors are responsible for their display/booth area. A&C Vendors will provide their own tents, tables, chairs, etc. needed for their display. At the conclusion of the festival, A&C Vendors shall remove all supplies, material, refuse, and any other materials from their booth area.
Spaces will be assigned with preference towards artists and artisans offering their own work for sale. Notification of acceptance of your application will begin March I, 2017 and no later than April 15, 2017. Subject to space availability, every effort will he made to comply with your preference of location.
A&C Vendors may set up their display/booth on Thursday of the festival from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be absolutely no set-up before Thursday morning. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OFF THE FIELD BY 2:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY. VEHICLES WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ON THE FIELD UNTIL 11 :30 P.M. ON SATURDAY. Due to the limited width of the paved path, excessively wide vehicles may be refused access to the park in the event of rain. Festival personnel will assist in load-in under such circumstances.
A&C Vendor may not sell “commercially crafted or antique/flea market items” unless such items have been approved in writing by MIF, Exhibitor Committee.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REQUEST THE REMOVAL OF ANY OBJECTIONABLE ITEMS FROM THE EXHIBITOR’S BOOTH.
MIF will provide city-wide advertising for this event. MIF will provide security for the park on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. HOWEVER, MIF, HOLY ROSARY PARISH, THEIR AGENTS, EMPLOYEES AND VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS TO YOUR PERSONS, PERSONAL BELONGINGS, ARTICLES THAT YOU HAVE TO SELL, OR EQUIPMENT NECESSARY FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION.
A&C Vendors will be provided with four (4) exhibitor credentials per booth. Access to the grounds will be granted at the Alrose/Mt Moriah service entrance on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Do not lose or throw these away.
If you have any problems or need information, please report to the Volunteer booth at the park gazebo. There are also security personnel available on the grounds during the Festival.
